The Orchid Spectrum
The Orchid spectrum is for orientations that hold Attraction without Action, or “Allo through an Aspec Lense”.
The opposite of Orchid would be the Cupio spectrum, or "Aspec through an Allo Lense".
Orchid- is when an individual feels attraction, but doesn’t desire a relationship in real life (in simple terms). It can either be Allo, Aspec, or a whole category of its own, depending on the user^.
Some examples;
⦿ You don’t desire a relationship at all, but still feel attraction.
⦿ You don’t desire a relationship in a traditional sense, and prefer it only in fictional scenarios.
⦿ You feel attraction, but not connected to yourself.
⦿ System Members who only prefer relationships in system, but could never have a relationship while fronting (but still feel attraction).
⦿ While you do have attraction, you're sex- or romance-repulsed and don't ever want a relationship.
^ Disclaimer : The Orchid Spectrum is its own spectrum, that can overlap with Allo or Aspec, but doesn’t have to. You can use any spectrum you’d like- Orchid AND Aspec, Orchid AND Allospec, just Orchid, id with different spectrums at different times, or all three together.
Orchidsexual Terms
Orchidsexual is when an individual feels sexual attraction, but does not desire a sexual relationship. Someone who identifies with this may consider people sexually attractive, but lacks the want to have or dislikes having sexual experiences. Orchidsexual can be described as “the opposite of cupiosexual.”
Aro Orchid / Dendrian : This flag is for Aromantic people that are on the Orchid sexual spectrum.
Allo Orchidse / Ludsian : This flag is for Alloromantic people that are on the Orchid sexual spectrum.
Orchidromantic Terms
Orchidromantic is when an individual feels romantic attraction, but does not desire a romantic relationship. Someone who identifies with this may consider people romantically attractive, but lacks the want to have or dislikes having romantic experiences. Orchidromantic can be described as “the opposite of cupioromantic.”
Ace Orchid / Cattlian : This flag is for asexual people on the Orchid romantic spectrum.
Allo Orchidro / Vandaric : This flag is for allosexual people on the Orchid romantic spectrum.
Orchidspec
The Orchid spectrum holds all "Allo through an Aspec lense", and as such can hold any type of attraction; Platonic, Queerplatonic, Alterous, etc.
Orchidrose
Being both orchidromantic and orchidsexual; someone who feels romantic and sexual attraction, but does not desire a romantic or sexual relationship.
Orchidpluric
Members of a plurality who can have relationships with other members of their own plurality, but could not have one outside of themselves, despite feeling attraction.

Aego- : People who enjoy the concept of relationships but have a disconnect between themself and the subject of fantasies.
Lith- : Someone who is lith may experience attraction but does not want it reciprocated. They might be uncomfortable at the thought of someone being attracted to them, or they may lose their feelings if they learn it's reciprocated. They don't feel compelled to seek out a sexual relationship.
Ficto- : An umbrella term for anyone who experiences exclusive attraction toward fictional characters. They may only feel attraction to people they could never be in a relationship with (such as fictional characters).
Requis- : An orientation for people who have limited or no interest or relationship activity due to emotional exhaustion, but to be on the Orchid spectrum, there'd probably still be attraction.
Caed- : An orientation for people who were allo, but it's been cut away by trauma.
Cupiospec
The opposite of the Orchidspectrum is Cupiospec- being Aspec through an Allo lense.
People on the Cupio spectrum don't experience attraction, but still have the desire to be in relationships.
Orchidtype Gender
Genderorchid, Noirchid, Orchidnoir, BlackOrchid is a gender spectrum of "Genders through a Genderless Lense", similar to Orchidspec orientations.
